This Shipping Policy explains how Vettil Ltd ("Vettil", "we", "us", "our") handles shipping and delivery for orders placed on our website.

1. Where We Ship

Vettil currently ships orders to:

  • The United Kingdom
  • The Republic of Ireland

If we expand to additional countries in the future, we will update this page accordingly.

2. Production & Processing Times

Most Vettil products are custom-made based on the images and details you provide. Production and processing time is typically between 1 business day and 2 weeks, depending on our current order backlog, the complexity of your design, and seasonal demand.

An estimated processing/production timeframe is shown on each product page. This is our best estimate and may change during particularly busy periods. Production time is separate from shipping time.

3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

  • We currently apply free express/next-day shipping by default to all eligible orders in the UK and Ireland.
  • Once your order is produced and dispatched, typical delivery times are:
    • United Kingdom: usually next working day to 2 working days after dispatch.
    • Republic of Ireland: usually 1–3 working days after dispatch.

Overall, from placing your order to receiving it, most orders arrive within 3–14 days of purchase. Very busy periods (such as holidays or viral demand) may occasionally extend this closer to the 2-week end of the range.

These timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Couriers and external factors (such as weather, strikes, or customs checks for cross-border UK/IE routes) can cause delays that are outside our control.

4. Shipping Fees

At present, we offer free express shipping on orders to the UK and Ireland. If we introduce paid shipping upgrades or minimum order thresholds in future, this will be clearly displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

5. Tracking and Delivery

Where available, we will send you a tracking link when your order ships. Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are correct at checkout. We are not responsible for delayed or failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or repeated failed delivery attempts, we will contact you to rearrange delivery. We may ask you to pay a re-shipping fee in that case.

6. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For orders between the UK and Ireland, customs and duties may apply depending on the current legal and trade framework. Any such charges are typically assessed by local authorities and/or carriers.

Where customs, VAT, or import fees apply, they are usually the responsibility of the recipient. If this changes and we start collecting such fees at checkout, we will state it clearly.

7. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Parcels

If your parcel is lost or severely delayed, please first check the tracking information and contact the carrier. Then contact us at help@vettil.com with your order number and tracking details. We will liaise with our fulfilment partners and do our best to resolve the issue.

If your item arrives damaged, please take clear photos of the packaging and item as received and contact us within a reasonable time. Where damage has occurred in transit, we will typically offer a replacement or refund.
